The last sign up date for Big dig is the 12th March HOWEVER sign up early to give yourself plenty of time to promote your activity!

As its so early in the year there’s not much veg around so Christine from the Birmingham and District Allotments Council knitted some! These were on display at the Big Dig Bordesley Green meeting and I think they started a bit of a trend!



Birmingham University Students – Going Green and Getting a Healthy Mind and Body

On the 20th February Winterbourne House and Garden and Urban Veg are opening up to the students of Birmingham University.

Special tours and hands on gardening fun with Alys Fowler, will be running during the day to raise awareness of outdoor activity as a means to well-being of the self AND the environment.
